Untangle 10.0 firewall app is out

CSUntangle

Attended the online roll-out of Untangle 10.0.  Hour long presentation of new features including IPv6 support, HTTPS filtering capability and revamped UI. Reworked networking functionality makes it much simpler to configure tagged VLAN adapters as well.

I’ve been using untangle for almost 4 years now on the office network.  Running on a 64-bit AMD processor with 4GB of RAM and a 250GB disk.  WAN load balancing and routing to both ISPs, full port forwarding to support both SharePoint farms, Exchange 2013, websites (including this blog), cloud BDR and storage contribution.  Rule driven firewall, client and point to point, tunnel based VPNs and more for practically just he cost of the equipment.  I strongly recommend Untangle.
